Deciding to begin a blog and youtube channel....

Ok... In all honesty, for months I have put off starting my own channel and blog.  Normal thoughts of would I be liked or would people actually watch my videos and read my blog flooded my mind as I sat on my own couch on my laptop watching and reading many of my favorite makeup/fashion gurus.  I was clearly inspired by what I saw, and of course things in my everyday life that made me want to pick up a make-up brush or put together an outfit based from magazine clippings or t.v. shows that caught my eye.  I am absolutely in love with make-up.  My obsession started about 2 years ago (pretty late considering I was already in my 20's)  I fell in love with eye shadows and blushes.  I loved going to Sephora and looking thru all the different cosmetics displayed.  I loved doing family and friends make-up.  It just became a staple in my everyday life.  I can't tell you how much money I would spend on make-up.  It was actually quite sad.  I wanted to mimic different stars' looks or would just creatively come up on my own... what I thought looked good.  Sometimes what I thought looked thebomb.com looked a hot ass mess, lol, but I personally believe that make-up is a form of expression as well as a learning process.  Your face is a canvas and you can make a work of art on your face that express your feelings and moods and what you yourself determine as beautiful. That being said, that is also why I love fashion.  Fashion is away to express who you are.  And I love that.  We can not only make statements with our words and actions, but also with our make-up and fashion choices.  So, I don't want to ramble, but this blog spot will be a place that I can share my passion with others.  And give my opinions and reviews on new fashion trends, make-up and beauty tools.  So, thank you for taking time out of your day for reading my blog, and I hope to keep you guys entertained.  Peace & Blessings.
